YOUNG ARTISTS INVITED TO ENTER HEART OF ENGLAND CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY’S CHRISTMAS CARD COMPETITION

Youngsters aged eight to 11 are invited to take part in the competition awards lucrative prizes for the three most attractive and original designs for the Society’s official Christmas 2017 card.
Now in its 19th year, the Heart of England Co-operative Society Christmas card competition is once again urging youngsters to dig deep into their imaginations and explore the theme ‘What Christmas means to you . . . .’
Organisers are seeking original, attractive designs with the only criteria being to incorporate the Society’s official logo into their inventive ideas.

Prizes include £500 for the winning school, with a separate prize for the winning entry and further rewards for the runner-up entries and schools.
The pupil with the most creative Christmas card will also receive a framed certificate and get the chance to see their design develop into a full colour Christmas card.
Jo Dyke, Community and Membership Adviser at the Heart of England Co-operative Society, said: “Every year our Christmas card competition gets more and more exciting as all these talented young artists from across Coventry and Warwickshire raise the bar with their ideas.
“Year on year the competition has continued to grow and we are delighted to give children the opportunity to take part once again this year. Our panel always has great fun judging the entries and we can’t wait to see what this year’s entrants have to offer.”
Entries are limited to one per child. Local dignitaries and members of the local business community will make up the judging panel.
